September was off to a quick start as Verizon (VZ) gave me an expected 2% raise. My brokerage account ran out of cash but my IRA still has a few dollars to invest. Let’s keep it going; here are my trades for the week:
- Unilever (UL) – increased position –Inflation fears continue to keep consumer stock prices low. Grabbed 7 shares $54.86 for a 3.35% yield.
- Leggett & Platt (LEG) – increased position – My allocation to the industrial sector is so under-represented, pullbacks in share price are always welcome. Grabbed 4 shares $47.89 for a 3.51% yield.
